A woman easily quarreled a A calm and confused pose – Then he took it by the tail from the Texas country dance hall, video shows.

“Not all heroes wear capes,” Banita Creek Hall said when he shared the video on Facebook on April 1. Sometimes they are Southern belles who fear nothing.

That “Southern Belle” was identified by KHOU. Jessica Whitewho saw the critter at closing time in a Nacogdoches bar.

In a recording of a radio interview she shared with TikTok, White said the bar turned on the lights to announce one last drink call.

Then as she headed for the front door, She noticed the possum. “Walk calmly and slowly.”

“I thought, ‘I’m going to check it out,'” he said in an interview. He looked a little confused.

When she walked up to the animal, she said it calmed down — and so did she.

“The craziest thing is I put my hand out for him to smell like a dog,” White said. “I don’t know what I’m thinking.”

At that point, she picked it up and asked, “What was that?”

That’s when someone started recording her working to take the possum – “like a ‘chinky monkey'” – to safety.

“He got out safely,” White told KHOU. “He’s a little confused but otherwise good.”

The video has garnered more than 10 million views on Facebook alone since April 6.

Now, Banita Creek Hall said. “The Possum Queen.” Next rounds are on the house.

“Really He just needed some help. And I was happy,” White said on Twitter.

Nacogdoches is about 200 miles southeast of Fort Worth.
