Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has revealed when he plans to retire from the NFL, and it may happen much sooner than you expect.

When it appears “Full Offensive” on Sports Radio 810 WHB., Hill revealed to former Chiefs teammates Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter that his plan was to play 10 years in the NFL and then retire. Hill says he wants to get into “the playground.”

“So I want to get into the gaming space. I want to be big in it and that’s what I’m doing right now. I’m using my platform to create a gaming team that hasn’t started yet. It should be launched by the end of this month. I’ll be signing different content creators, different athletes. I’m talking to different sponsors. I am working on that.

Based on his 10-year mark to retire, that would be after the 2025 season. On SpotrakHe had one more year left on his contract with the Dolphins, which had a $56.3 million cap hit in 2026.

As previously mentioned, Hill made an immediate impact for the Dolphins. Playing in all 17 regular season games, Hill recorded a team-high 119 receptions and 1,710 yards on 170 targets.

Hill made other important comments in his conversation with Sherman and Dieter, including how they will be the Chiefs’ “worst enemy” when they play each other in the 2023 season.

According to Hill’s timeline, he would play for three more seasons before retiring. Dolphins fans are certainly hoping they win a Super Bowl before the end of the 2025 season.
