Yahoo News reported on Monday that Trump will appear before a Manhattan Criminal Court judge on Tuesday afternoon to face 34 felony charges, but will not be handcuffed, jailed or shot.
Trump’s lawyers say he plans to plead not guilty. The former president accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of a politically motivated “witch hunt.” Some Trump allies, including far-right conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., have said they are ready to oppose his arrest.
