Tom Sandoval: I tried to leave Ariana Maddix but she attacked me, threatened to kill herself.

Tom Sandoval is not the most popular person in America right now.

And the controversial Vanderpump rules Star may have dug himself an even deeper hole with his comments on comedian Howie Mandel’s podcast today.

Sandoval has wisely made very few public comments in the weeks since fans learned about him Relationship with Rachel Lewis.

Speaking with Mandel, Sandoval went into detail about his messy breakup with Ariana Maddix, and his attempt at damage control probably didn’t win many new fans.

Tom admits he began his relationship with Rachel while he was with Ariana, but says he tried to break up with Lewis two weeks before she found out about it.

“I broke up with her on Valentine’s Day,” Sandoval said.

“I broke up with her two weeks ago, and I said, ‘Listen, let’s talk about this, we shouldn’t post anything on social media.'” Tom continued.

“She was scared and punched me and all that, but after she calmed down we started talking.”

Tom promised Ariana that the two of them would “find a way to navigate this that would help and make it easier for both of us.”

He said he thought they were on the same page, but later realized that Maddix was “in denial.”

“If you break up with me, you’ve effectively ended my life,” Sandoval says.

“I didn’t know what to do. She was in complete denial and refused. “

According to Sandoval, Ariana “killed herself” and asked for her frozen eggs to create an embryo.

Over the following weeks, Sandoval began attending all of the band’s shows and was by his side every second they attended the Miami Food and Wine Festival together.

We never PDA unless it’s for a photo or the press. [but] She, like in front of all these fans, looks at me and knows I’m not going to push her in front of people, and she kisses me,” he told Mandel.

“My phone fell out of his pocket, and she looked at it and, obviously, she was very upset and angry, but I think she was on the phone to see if something happened to someone in Miami,” she recalled of the night she finally found out about it.

But we’re apart, she knows we’re apart.

Sandoval ended the interview by saying he had been treated unfairly in the press.

“It’s crazy how big this whole thing is for me – I’m not like royalty, I’m on a reality show. Like, who is Snooki having an affair with, is that going to be national news?” he asked.

“I never thought I’d find myself in a situation like this – never. I mean, I’ve worked really hard on my image, my businesses, my integrity and everything. But it happened.

We don’t know if the Snooki case will be as big as the Scadoval story.

But we know that Snooks probably does a better job of handling failure!
