On Tuesday, the NBA G League announced the current Golden State Warriors Two-way guard Lester Quinos was named the 2022-23 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player.
As defined by the NBA G League, this award honors the most improved player of the season.
Quinos, who spent most of the season with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League, signed a two-way deal with the Golden State Warriors in March after initially signing a 10-day contract.
In his rookie season with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Quinos averaged 21.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 31 games.
Quinos was named Player of the Week twice during the G League season, for games played between February 13-26 and March 13-19.

Quinos finished second in G League Rookie of the Year voting, which went to Memphis Grizzlies two-way forward Kenny Lofton Jr.
At the NBA level, Lester Quinos has played just under one minute for the Warriors this season.
According to the Warriors, Lester Quinos will be presented with the G League Most Improved Award before the team’s final home game on Tuesday. Oklahoma City Thunder.
