A 7-year-old girl has died after being hit by multiple vehicles while crossing the 101 freeway alone at night, California authorities told news outlets.
of The girl was beaten around 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7, near the Prunedale community in Monterey County, the California Highway Patrol told KSBW.
The girl, dressed in black, went in front of a Nissan and the driver tried to swerve but failed to hit her, highway patrols told the station. Several other cars also hit her.
