NFL rumors: Aaron Rodgers traded to the Jets, the Packers can only be stopped by one thing

The Aaron Rodgers trade has yet to go official. While the delay may be raising doubts for some, there is still a good chance it will go through as before.

We all know that business should not pass between them Green Bay Packers And New York Jets. Jets brass flew to Southern California a month ago to meet with Aaron Rodgers, and we’re still waiting on the official word after Rodgers convinced him to continue his playing career in a different shade of green.

The reason for the holdup is reported to be compensation for packaging, as one would expect. Green Bay has a slight advantage, and New York doesn’t really have a ton. It caused some foreigners to start spitting about their mouths Other groups that may be involved.

As time goes by, We are running artificial noise. The NFL draft starts on April 27th. If the Jets and Packers can’t come to an agreement before the second-round picks expire on April 28, the trade will be very complicated. The reason is that Green Bay will either/or pick 42 and 43 for Rodgers in return for what the Jets own.

But complicating potential assets beyond that deadline is something else: Rodgers and his motivation to play for the Jets.

The only thing standing in the way of a trade is Aaron Rodgers changing his mind.

It seems far-fetched, but as Mike Florio first put it, Rodgers has changed his mind about his “purpose” to play for the Jets. In fact, the only thing that can hinder this. And as Florio candidly puts it, that justifies “supervillain” status for Rogers in NYC.

For most players, this won’t even be a question. But Rogers is a brute, and it’s not too hard to imagine that he’s going to throw a lot of tantrums because he’s taken so long and worn out his patience. Who knows but maybe he’s on another dark retreat and has no idea he still needs to be treated.

The Jets and Packers have both been planning their futures and their playoffs around the reality of this trade completion. Green Bay is moving Jordan Love into a starting role and building their roster around him. The Jets, however, passed on other veterans like Jimmy Garoppolo, who could otherwise pursue him if this trade isn’t on the table.

So, really, the only thing standing in the way is Rogers. He indicated that he will let the two parties know the details while he is still out of it.

But now there are only two weeks left to get it right before it gets too complicated. And better believe at this point, Rodgers is also restless.
