Manchester United are set to beat Chelsea to the signing of 16-year-old Harry Amas.

Manchester United strengthened their grip on the race for the top four with a 2-0 win over Sean Dyche’s Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils look forward to the arrival of Europa League specialists Sevilla for the first leg of their quarter-final at Old Trafford on Friday.

As the Glazers look to finally relinquish their two-decade grip on the club, things are looking bright for the red half of Manchester.

After taking over United, he is said to be looking for reinforcements in the summer and a number of names have been linked with the club in recent months.

Two more could now be added, with sources confirming to Teamtalk that the Red Devils are hoping to sign Watford teenager duo Harry Amas and Adrian Blake in the summer.

15-year-old Amas has already trained with Watford’s senior team and is being closely watched by Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham.

Following our latest report, United continue to be the preferred destination for current England under-16 internationals.

The 20-time European champions will be hoping to steal a march on their rivals after being told 17-year-old Blake will be allowed to leave Watford this summer.

Arsenal and Tottenham have tracked the winger, who plays for Watford’s under-18s and is a regular for the under-21s.

However, United remain confident they can convince Blake to join Erik ten Hag’s revolution at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have a long and storied tradition of bringing young blood onto the field.

Busby’s Babes and Fergie’s Fledglings have dominated the game for decades, winning several major honours, garnering envious glances from the rest of Europe.

United continue to rely on Carrington youngsters such as Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Anthony Ilanga, Scott McTominay and most recently Coby Mainon.

The young Hornets may soon join them in making new history at the Theater of Dreams.
