Cole put on a strong performance on stage, performing hits and deep cuts from his catalog for the sold-out crowd. Previously, the information released by the producers was so vague that fans around the world were a bit worried whether Drizzy’s episode would be broadcast live or not. Thankfully, we were all able to watch the great show from the comfort of our homes.
Drizzy performed several of his songs but also brought out special guests that included Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne and GloryL. Finally, a few lines for J. Cole gave in and the latter returned the favor by giving flowers to the Canadian superstar.
“Brother, we’re brave, we’re in awe, we’re blown away by your greatness, it gives us chills to see you consistently do this sh*t at such a high level and we’re constantly serving you up on the soundtrack of our lives, ‘I’m blown away by your greatness,'” Cole said as the two shared the stage.
