The Iranian regime’s recent attack on a US military base in Syria, in The murder of an American contractor, That did not stop the Biden administration from pursuing a controversial nuclear deal with Tehran that would dramatically enrich the Islamic Republic’s coffers.
The White House remains committed to reaching Tehran with the formal name of the Iran nuclear deal – the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). 275 billion dollars in financial benefits in its first year of operation and $1 trillion by 2030.
Senior Iran experts have argued that the JCPOA is no longer viable because it is seriously flawed in curbing Iranian misbehavior and failing to stop Tehran’s ongoing drone strikes against Americans. “The JCPOA framework is not in the best interests of the United States,” Jason Brodsky, policy director of the U.S.-based U.S.-based U.S. Nuclear Iran Institute (UANI), told Fox News Digital. [deal] Ignore the history of the last seven-plus years, when the world’s powers have spent more time trying to save than they have fully implemented. The reason is that the United States lacks bilateral support for the JCPOA paradigm and Tehran’s lethal non-nuclear behavior.
While the US State Department has said the JCPOA is not a priority, it has reportedly offered ways to inch closer to a deal. Axios recently reported that the White House is negotiating an interim deal that would ease some economic sanctions on Tehran to end its nuclear weapons program.

A State Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital when asked about the proposed tentative deal: “We are in constant contact with our partners and allies, including E3, but we do not detail diplomatic discussions or respond to rumors, many of which are simply false.”
E3 is an acronym for France, Germany and Britain.
“It hasn’t been on our agenda since September when Iran turned its back on a deal that was on the table, but we’re still very open to diplomacy,” the spokesman added.

“As the president has made clear, the United States is committed to never allowing Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon. We believe diplomacy is the best way to achieve that goal, but President [Joe] Biden has made it clear that we haven’t taken any options off the table.”
Reiterating an earlier response to reports that French, German and British diplomats held secret talks with Iran in Norway last month, a US spokesman reiterated: “We are in constant contact with our allies and partners, including at E3.” But we don’t detail diplomatic conversations or respond to the many rumors, many of which are false. For example, there have been no P5+1 and Iran meetings since August.

The spokesman added: “We are of course deeply concerned about the expansion of Iran’s nuclear activities, including its advanced centrifuge operations and high-enriched uranium stockpile.” Iran has no peaceful purpose in carrying out these activities.S.”
Behnam Ben Taleblou, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital that the Biden administration “is not interested in solving the Iranian nuclear problem, but in managing it.”
Although the rule of the priest Mass human rights violationsFurniture Killer planes to Russia Biden’s “Iran policy continues to be defined by the JCPOA,” Taleblu said, citing his war with Ukraine and the use of uranium to military grade.

Taleblu said the Biden administration’s high regard for Iran’s rulers over the past 18 months “paved the way for us.” He said the policy allowed Tehran to make “irreversible gains” in its nuclear weapons program. The Iran expert also said the Biden administration would “selectively enforce oil sanctions” on Tehran.
He urged the US government to provide greater support to the Iranian opposition to the theocratic regime because the US “cannot create Iran policy in isolation from what is happening inside Iran”.
According to the State Department report, the Trump administration is responsible for the current affairs of the Islamic Republic: “Also, let’s not forget. A State Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the previous administration’s decision to unilaterally withdraw from the JCPOA contributed greatly to Iran’s failure to adhere to the deal’s limits and rapidly advancing its nuclear program.

General Yossi Kuperwasser, a senior researcher at Israel’s Defense Security Forum and an expert on Iran, told Fox News Digital that the perception in the region is that “America is weak and unwilling to support its allies.” Saudi Arabia’s rapprochement with the Iranian government completely bypasses the US – Communist China has brokered a diplomatic deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

“The US dreams of going back to the JCPOA, which means the Iranians think they can go further and test the waters on different issues,” Cooperwasser said. “The Iranians have shown more confidence in their attacks on US military bases in Syria that resulted in the death of one American,” he said. He added that Hezbollah had recently attacked Israel – a major strategic ally of the Iranian regime – Hezbollah in Lebanon, which is designated as a terrorist movement by the United States.

Kuperwasser said the message being sent to Iranians right now is “you can get away with more than murder.” He continued, “The main thing is to pressure Iran to stop their nuclear project. The worst thing now is to renew the JCPOA because it gives them a lot of money. In the future, they can produce nuclear weapons under the JCPOA.”
Cooperwasser lamented the US government’s passive stance. At the last meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the US said it would not take any action against the Iranian regime, which is likely to enrich weapons-grade uranium. IAEA spokesman Frederick Dahl declined to comment to Fox News Digital.
Cooperwasser said the main problem is Iran’s nuclear program and uranium enrichment, and the United States “needs to look at the problem in its entirety.” He said that the way to avoid a military conflict with the Iranian regime is to “show credible military options”.

“Military options must be on the table and Tehran must believe that Washington is serious about using them if it hopes to effectively deter the Islamic Republic,” said Brodsky, a UNI Iran expert. This includes targeting the Iranian regime more aggressively after the attack. It is not only against the forces of the United States – its proxies, but also the Iranian regime. The US government should take the revised AUMF seriously. [Authorization for Use of Military Force] It focuses on Iran, because that is the most important threat today. Having an AUMF with Iran on the books would be a deterrent in itself.
