Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries has changed agents as the transfer window opens, with the player planning a move to the Premier League.
Dumfries will be looking to strengthen Erik ten Haag at right-back as they face United on a regular basis.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain after the World Cup, though, so his link with Dumfries is far from over.
Chelsea also have the Dutchman on their radar.
According to the Daily Mail, Dumfries are aware of the high demand for their services from England and have moved to ensure they have the best possible representation ahead of the imminent change.
“Inter Milan attacking full-back Denzel Dumfries has joined a new representative group amid growing interest from Manchester United and Chelsea,” reports .
“Dumfries previously entrusted his work relationship to Rafaela Pimenta, but is now joined by John Morris and Yelsin Sarika, a member of the Wasserman team.”

Simon Jones, however, has revealed that Ten Hag’s priority is still to recruit a top goalscorer and that moves like Dumfries will only be explored if money is spared.
Jones added that United are tracking Watford’s 16-year-old left-back Harry Amas. People’s Person reported last month that the Red Devils are leading the race to secure Amas’s services.
At United, Amas is seen as the long-term replacement for Luke Shaw, who has signed a new deal that will keep him until 2027.
Jones added: “United could contact Trevor Todd, Man City’s head of domestic recruitment, who was responsible for scouting Phil Foden and Rico Lewis.
