Casemiro’s agent, Oscar Ribot, has spent time watching all the games during his suspension, calculating the points his Brazilian client needs for Manchester United to achieve their goals this year.
Casemiro was handed a four-match ban following his red card for a foul on Southampton’s Carlos Alcaraz.
The United midfielder missed the FA Cup quarter-final against Fulham and the Premier League games against Newcastle, Brentford and Everton.
However, Casemiro will return to action for the first time in a month as the Red Devils prepare to face Sevilla at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
According to Ribot, who spoke to The Guardian, Casemiro is not wasting his time on the pitch by wallowing in trouble or being forced out of competitive action.
He has been preparing for his comeback in the background and now the fans can see the superstar once again.
“Taking football out of the case is like taking food off the table, it’s like he can’t live, he can’t breathe,” Ribot said.
“He wakes up and goes to bed thinking about football. He watches hundreds of games: any team, any league.
“I see him watching Chinese games because there are always some details. “I will not be a coach, but I will be,” he said. He is already one in the body of a football player.
Ribot added, “He looked at everything this month, calculating the points needed and the days left.”
Casemiro’s return to the team is a huge boost for Erik ten Haag, who has made no secret of the 31-year-old’s importance and importance to his plans.
Against Sevilla, Casemiro could be linked with his usual partner in crime – Christian Eriksen. Eriksen featured for the Red Devils in their 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday.
