Alex Tells has been included in Sevilla's traveling squad to face Manchester United.

Manchester United loanee Alex Telles has been included in Sevilla’s 22-man squad to face the Red Devils in the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday.

Telles joined Sevilla in search of first-team minutes this summer and is fit to play on Thursday as European competitions do not prevent loan players from playing with their parent club.

One change from Sevilla’s traveling party is the inclusion of Lucas Ocampos in the squad to face Celta Vigo at the weekend.

Ocampos was not involved with Celta Vigo as he was serving a suspension.

Undoubtedly, United are the favorites to emerge victorious.

Their Spanish rivals are having a nightmare campaign which has seen them finish 13th in La Liga.

Los Nerviones were held to a 2-2 draw by Celta Vigo – a result that saw them take a two-goal lead within minutes.

Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men scored in the 89th and 93rd minutes and two players were sent off.

Mendilibar is Sevilla’s third manager this season since the sacking of Julen Lopetegui and most recently Jorge Sampaoli before the international break.

However, they should not be underestimated.

Sevilla have a rich history and reputation in the Europa League. The last time the Red Devils met Sevilla, the Spanish giants, led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, were eliminated from Europe’s second-tier competition in the semi-finals.

Sevilla beat Inter Milan in the 2020 final to win the competition.
