All-Star forward Jaylen Brown has missed each of the past two games with a finger injury.
However, the former Cal star was fully involved in Thursday’s practice (h/t Underdog NBA).
Through the Celtics: “Jaylen Brown went through all the drills today without any limitations,” Coach Mazzula said.
Brown is one of their two best players, so having him around is crucial for the Celtics to get off to a good start in the series.
He averaged 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 67 games.
The two-time NBA All-Star also shot 49.1% from the field and 33.5% from three-point range.
He is in his seventh season in the NBA, and has already reached the Eastern Conference Finals four times.
Last year, Brown helped lead the franchise to its first NBA Finals appearance since the 2010 season.
The Celtics finished the 2022-23 regular season with a 57-25 record and picked up the second seed in the Eastern Conference to finish the 2022-23 season where they left off.
They are 8-2 in their last ten games and are in the midst of a three game winning streak.
At home, the Celtics were sensational with a 32-9 win over Massachusetts in 41 games on their home floor.
