A Maryland daycare worker has been arrested after allegedly recording a video of her kicking a child at an Oxon Hill center, police said.
in the VideoKayla Greenwell, 23, was seen using her legs to move the girl. She then lifts the child by the arm and throws the child onto the mattress, then kicks the mattress causing the child to fall.
At another point in the photo, she can be seen picking up the boy by his shirt and dropping him on the mattress.

“PGPD would like to thank Fox 5 News for immediately forwarding the video to our media relations department and stopping it from airing the video,” police said. “Doing so allowed PGPD to begin the investigation and make a quick arrest. PGPD also appreciates the support from the community in identifying the suspect.”
Greenwell, of Oxon Hill, about 50 miles from Baltimore, has been charged with multiple counts of child abuse and molestation, authorities said. She’s in the action department. Attorney information not available.
The daycare center did not immediately respond to a request for comment Saturday. Greenwell began working at the center in late March, police said.
